You may also want to check out his notation of Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah 1741.Robert sings in a choir. He says, "My voice is strong, but my music reading skills are weak." When asked how he uses NoteWorthy Composer, Robert responded, "I use NWC to arrange complicated hymns for my personal use, so that they are more readable. This involves strategies such as eliminating notation that does not pertain to my part, re-positioning verses so that I don't have to flip back 5 pages after the chorus, and so forth. I also create MIDI files for "sing-along" practice. Since I began using NWC for this purpose, my singing has improved remarkably. Our choir director is a composer (she creates modern SATB arrangements of well-known hymns) and I use NWC to compose and print some of her arrangements. I very strongly recommend NWC to music students and educators." By way of occupation, Robert has taught college and worked in industry. Visit Robert's web site to learn about his other interests.
