NoteWorthy Software was founded in Fuquay-Varina, NC in September of 1994.

Our goal is to provide high quality, easy-to-use software at a reasonable price, with superior customer service.

Our initial product, NoteWorthy Composer, was first offered for sale to the public in October of 1994. It was awarded the Ziff-Davis Shareware award for the Multimedia category in 1995. NoteWorthy Composer continues to be improved and updated to this date.

Several other products have been released since then:

• NoteWorthy Player was released in September of 1996 to give NoteWorthy Composer users a way to share their song files. 
• NoteWorthy Composer Winamp Plug-in debuted in January of 2001 to provide NoteWorthy Composer users a method for creating a play list of their songs.
• NoteWorthy Composer Browser Plug-in became publicly available in March of 2001 to assist NoteWorthy Composer users in publishing their songs on the Internet.
• NoteWorthy Composer Viewer was unveiled in late 2008 with the release of NoteWorthy Composer Version 2.
